When you create an approval request, ApproveWell generates a unique, secure link. Share that link with anyone — they can view the asset, leave comments, and submit their decision directly from their browser. Each link is tied to a specific request and can be revoked at any time.

No. Reviewers can view assets and submit decisions through the secure review link without creating an account or signing in. This eliminates friction and helps you get feedback faster.

ApproveWell supports a wide range of file types including JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WebP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, MP4, MOV, and more. We are constantly adding support for additional formats based on customer feedback.

Every time you upload a new version of an asset, it is linked to the original request. You can compare versions side by side, and the full revision history is preserved. Previous approvals and comments remain tied to their specific version.

You can configure reminder schedules per request or set workspace-wide defaults. ApproveWell sends polite email reminders to reviewers who have not yet responded, at the cadence you choose — daily, every few days, or weekly. Reminders stop automatically once a decision is submitted.

The audit trail records every action taken on a request: uploads, approvals, rejections, comments, reminder sends, link shares, and more. Each entry includes a timestamp and the actor. You can export the full trail as CSV or JSON for compliance and record-keeping.

Absolutely. Review links are designed for external stakeholders — clients, vendors, legal teams, or anyone outside your organization. They do not need an account. For internal team members, you can invite them to your workspace with specific roles and permissions.

Security is a top priority. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Files are stored in isolated, access-controlled storage. Review links use cryptographically random tokens and can be revoked instantly. We perform regular security audits and follow industry best practices.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, processed securely through Stripe. For Business plans on annual billing, we also offer invoicing. All payments are PCI-compliant.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and your data remains available for export.
